SAIP Supplies Insulated Sandwich Panel Production Equipment For Manufacturing Plants In Russia And Mexico
SUMMARY: SAIP, a Foam Supplies partner and leading global manufacturer of equipment solutions for polyurethane technical applications, recently supplied key equipment for production lines in two new state-of-the-art insulated panel plants.
MILAN, ITALY – Isopan, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of structural insulated panels and other building materials, recently announced that they’ve installed SAIP production equipment at their new plants in Volgograd, Russia (formerly Stalingrad), and in Leon, a city in the central Mexican state of Guanajuato.
For the new 30,000-square-meter plant in Russia completed in September 2015, SAIP supplied two Contitech continuous sandwich panel production lines: one for the manufacturing of rock-wool panels, and the other for the manufacturing of PUR-PIR insulated panels. These SAIP production lines will help the new Isopan Rus plant produce an estimated total of 3 million square meters of panels annually. More details are available at isopan.ru.
For the new 11,000-square-meter plant in Mexico completed in December 2015, SAIP supplied the foaming section, cutting section and other components of the production line used to create PUR-PIR insulated panels. This new plant is the result of a strategic alliance between Isopan and the Venezuelan company Cindu. The estimated annual production capacity of this new IsoCindu plant is 7.5 million square meters of panels annually. Visit isocindu.mx for more information.
The panels made at these two plants will eventually used in roofs and walls for commercial, residential, agricultural and industrial buildings.
